Crescent View Academy (CVA) is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation, established in 1994 by the Denver Islamic Education Center to meet the PK-8th grade educational needs of the Muslim Community of the Greater Denver Metro Area. The school is located in Aurora, CO and is located near the intersection of I-225 and Parker Road. CVA is about 1 mile south of Colorado Muslim Society (Masjid Abu Bakr) and approximately 3 miles northeast of DTC. The school consists of 16 classrooms, a large prayer hall, a science lab, a computer lab, a library, a staff room, a nursery, an Arabic Language Lab, a subject teacher office, five administrative offices, an indoor play gym, and a central atrium.  Outdoor facilities include a playground, a synthetic grass area and track, a basketball court and an arrival and dismissal loop.

Crescent View Academy has two educational programs:

  1. PK-8th Grade Full-Time Private Islamic School
  2. Hifz Program

Crescent View Academy has an administrative team (the Principal, Business Manager, Director of Student Success,  School-Home Liaison, and Office Manager) that reports to the 5-member School Board of appointed community members and parents.

Our academic year goes from mid-August until the end of May or beginning of June and is divided into four quarter grading periods. Our school day varies depending on the program a student is enrolled in.
