Financial Tuition 2020-2021

For the academic school year 2020-20201, the CVA Administration in collaboration with the Board of Directors has applied a 5% tuition increase to the annual student tuition for PK-High School.  This decision wasn’t easy and was prepared based on calculated costs of the schools operations and on-going expansion plan.

Crescent View Academy’s average tuition collected is $4,990.00; approximately $881.00 less than the actual cost per student. The average tuition for private schools in Colorado is $11,315.00; 66% higher than CVA’s average tuition collected.  The funding for public school averages $8,643.00 – 43% higher than CVA’s average tuition collected.

Crescent View Academy’s Administration and Board of Directors review the Budget vs. Actuals on a monthly basis.  The Treasure of the Board meets with the Administration periodically to review expenditures and plan next fiscal year budget.  All expenditures, Accounts Payable and Payroll are reviewed and approved by the Treasure of the Board of Directors. Since our tuition income is 43%-66% less than the funding of surrounding schools, CVA collects from community donors, additional funds to cover operational cost a year in fundraising efforts. This does not include the extra fundraising needed for the current expansion and growth plans of our new facility for the Middle and High school program.
